A resident of Zgorzelec County lost his driving licence for excessive speed. The 49-year-old was driving on national road No. 94, in Bolesławiec County, at 158 km/h. The incident occurred on a stretch of road outside a built-up area.
A check carried out by officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec police headquarters ended with a PLN 2,000 fine, 14 penalty points and the suspension of his driving licence for three months.
As the police emphasize, there is no leniency for irresponsible drivers.
