The incident occurred on March 17, around noon. As we read on the social media profile Adrian Bałut – Fotografia Ratownicza, near the viaduct in Bolesławiec, “a police Bell helicopter could be heard. It approached from the direction of Wrocław and turned around near the village of Dobra before continuing its return flight toward the capital of Lower Silesia.”

The helicopter was carrying out a patrol flight along railway line 282 (E30), presumably to observe the tracks and check whether anything concerning was happening near them.
