As part of the nationwide “Wanted” operation, officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec successfully located and arrested people hiding from justice. Headquarters:
Police officers checked more than 70 locations. All those arrested were residents of the county, aged between 24 and 68.
Detectives arrested a 24-year-old woman. She is to serve an eight-month prison sentence for abuse.
Plainclothes officers also arrested a 68-year-old man sentenced to 10 months in prison for failing to comply with a court ban.
Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn arrested a 34-year-old man who is to serve a two-month sentence for driving despite a decision revoking his driving privileges.
Meanwhile, community police officers from Bolesławiec arrested a 54-year-old man sentenced to 150 days in prison for driving while intoxicated. Community police officers from Nowogrodziec, together with plainclothes officers, arrested a 43-year-old man sentenced to one year in prison for violating a court ban.
All those arrested will be taken to penitentiary units, where they will serve their sentences. (A female officer of the Border Guard from Zgorzelec also took part in the operation to verify the legality of the individuals’ stay in Poland.)
