Last Tuesday, in the city center, officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police detained a 35-year-old city resident who, while intoxicated, was harassing his former partner at her workplace.
Police report on the incident:
During the intervention, the man behaved aggressively and vulgarly, failed to follow the officers’ orders and threatened them. During his arrest, he violated the bodily integrity of the police officers. The test showed that he had more than 2‰ of alcohol in his system.
What charges does the detainee face?
The officers explain: – The detainee was charged with using threats to influence Police officers in order to force them to abandon their official duties, violating the bodily integrity of police officers, insulting officers and making criminal threats against his former partner.
The prosecutor placed the suspect under police supervision, banned him from approaching the injured party within 50 meters and prohibited any contact with the woman.
The perpetrator faces up to 3 years in prison.
