Police officers from Zgorzelec County detained three people wanted by the justice system last weekend. The reason? Sentenced prison terms. – Among those detained were men who had previously disregarded court-imposed bans on driving – explains Superintendent Agnieszka Goguł, press officer for the Commander of the County Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec.
The first of those wanted was detained by officers from the District Officers’ Unit of the County Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec. The spokesperson said: – The 37-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County had previously been convicted, among other things, of driving vehicles while intoxicated and driving vehicles in violation of court bans. For the offenses committed, he has eight months in prison to serve.
That same day, district officers from the Police Station in Zawidów detained a 50-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County. The man has a sentence of one year and four months in prison to serve for driving vehicles despite court-imposed bans.
The following day, officers from the Police Station in Zawidów detained the third wanted person. The 33-year-old had been convicted of offenses against property. He has seven months in prison to serve.
