On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at precisely 12:00 p.m., Bolesławiec’s Market Square became the setting for an exceptional and solemn ceremony. Soldiers of the Voluntary Basic Military Service took the military oath, symbolically beginning their service to the Homeland. The event, organized by the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, attracted not only the soldiers’ families but also numerous residents of the region, for whom it was an opportunity to experience a moment filled with pride, emotion and patriotism.
