Last year, we reported on the difficult passage along Warszawska Street. A similar situation occurs on Kwiatowa Street, near the headquarters of the Social Insurance Institution. Cars parked along the street often cause situations in which drivers and vehicles meet in a single lane and cannot pass each other.
Naturally, drivers coming from the direction of Orla Street have the right of way. Those drivers are in their lane. However, those coming from Gdańska Street, while passing the parked cars, should yield. Unfortunately, this does not always happen. Sometimes there are so many parked cars that when vehicles meet in a single lane, the only thing that can be done is to reverse all the way to the exit leading to the rear of Gdańska Street. As a result, tense behavior sometimes occurs, including forcing one’s way through and unjustified complaints.
What do you think? Would changing the traffic organization and introducing one-way traffic there solve the problem?
