On 13 December, a solemn military oath-taking ceremony for soldiers of Voluntary Basic Military Service was held in Bolesławiec’s Market Square.
Bolesławiec’s 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment about the ceremony:
In the presence of the regiment commander, local government authorities, representatives of the uniformed services, families and residents of Bolesławiec, the newly sworn-in soldiers recited the words of the military oath, pledging faithful service to the Homeland.
And he adds:
The commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment congratulated the soldiers on taking the oath, emphasizing that this is one of the most important moments in every soldier’s life, symbolizing loyalty, courage and readiness to defend the Republic of Poland.
