– Chocianów police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the abuse of dogs by their 55-year-old owner—and this is yet another time – reports junior inspector Przemysław Rybikowski, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Polkowice.
And he explains: – In light of the evidence gathered by the officers, it emerged that the resident of Chocianów municipality had previously been convicted of this offense, yet still failed to comply with the court-imposed ban on keeping animals.
Police were notified by witnesses of the incident about the abuse of an animal.
The spokesperson: – Concerned residents noticed the conditions in which the animals were being kept; moreover, their appearance was becoming increasingly alarming from day to day.
The officers reacted immediately and arrested the 55-year-old, after which they secured evidence in the case. The officers:

The suspect was charged with animal abuse and violating the court-imposed ban on keeping animals. The man faces up to five years in prison.
