The incident occurred on December 9 on Chocianowska Street in Polkowice. – Preliminary findings by investigators indicate that the driver lost control of the car, then hit a curb and crashed into the fence of a property – reports Sub-Inspector Przemysław Rybikowski, press officer of the local KPP. – Unfortunately, despite prolonged resuscitation efforts, the 73-year-old resident of Polkowice died.
The police and prosecutor’s office are determining the causes and circumstances of the tragedy. The spokesperson:
Police are appealing to drivers to exercise particular caution while driving. Excessive speed, as well as driver recklessness, remain the most common causes of road incidents.
