The motorcycle was stolen in the last days of August this year, at night, in one of the housing estates in Złotoryja. – After noticing that the vehicle was missing, the owner immediately notified the police – reports Sub-Inspector Dominika Kwakszys, press officer for the local District Police Headquarters.
Officers launched intensive operational activities. They carefully analyzed surveillance footage, reached out to potential witnesses, and cooperated with criminal investigators from the Świdnica police unit.
The result? The spokeswoman says: – Their diligence and what is known as police instinct led them to a workshop inspection pit, where the wanted motorcycle was found beneath a layer of boards.
The vehicle was thoroughly checked and secured, and the property owner was arrested. The 41-year-old resident of Złotoryja was charged with theft of property, which he committed as a repeat offender.
