Officers from the Wrocław-Strachowice Border Guard Post detained three Ukrainians on 22 and 23 October who posed a threat to security and public order in Poland. – The men were ordered to return immediately, issued 7-year bans on re-entering the Schengen Area and, under the escort of Border Guard officers, handed over to Ukrainian services – reports Second Lieutenant Paweł Biskupik of the Border Guard, spokesperson for the Commander of the Nadodrze Border Guard Unit.
He adds: – Border Guard officers from Wrocław-Strachowice, over just the past two days (22–23 October), took custody from police officers and detained three Ukrainians aged between 41 and 55 who, by failing to comply with Polish law, posed a real threat to security and public order in Poland. Not only had the foreigners driven vehicles while intoxicated or under the influence of a narcotic substance and violated court-imposed driving bans, but they had also committed property crimes – theft and burglary.
What will happen to the detained foreigners?
The detained men received decisions resulting in their immediate departure from our country. The decisions also imposed 7-year bans on re-entering the countries of the Schengen Area. Under the escort of Border Guard officers, the foreigners were taken to the Polish-Ukrainian border and handed over to the local services.

Since the beginning of 2025, officers of the Nadodrze Border Guard Unit have detained and ordered the immediate return to their countries of origin of nearly 380 foreigners, primarily Ukrainians, Georgians and Moldovans.
