The incident occurred on October 19, after 1:00 p.m., on the Parchów–Chocianów route. Firefighters:

At the scene, emergency services found a completely wrecked Audi passenger car, in which the driver’s body was trapped. Unfortunately, the man died at the scene.

The following took part in the operation:

  • fire service units from JRG Polkowice, including the operations officer;
  • OSP Parchów, OSP Chocianów, OSP Nowa Wieś Lubińska;
  • an Emergency Medical Team,
  • police patrols and the investigative team from KPP Polkowice
  • a court-appointed expert and a prosecutor.

Police and the prosecutor’s office are determining the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
