The tragedy occurred in the early hours of October 15, several hundred metres beyond the village of Rzecyca in the Grębocice commune. – According to the investigators’ preliminary findings, the 34-year-old driver of a passenger Audi lost control of the car, left the road and entered a roadside ditch, then the vehicle overturned – reports junior inspector Przemysław Rybikowski, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Polkowice. – Unfortunately, the Grębocice commune resident who was in the vehicle died at the scene despite receiving medical assistance.
At the scene, police officers are continuing to carry out investigative activities under the supervision of the prosecutor of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Głogów and with the participation of an expert in automotive engineering and road traffic. The spokesperson said: – The officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of this tragic incident.
