The incident occurred overnight from October 10 to 11. Officers from the Bolesławiec traffic unit noticed a vehicle that was being driven erratically—it was weaving from side to side. The police station reported: “At one point, the Mercedes driver almost drove onto the curb, which could have posed a real danger to other road users.
A 52-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was behind the wheel. A breathalyzer test showed as much as 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.
The result? The officers immediately confiscated the man’s driving licence, and his car was towed to a guarded police parking lot.
