A group of teenagers, acting on their own, decided to “punish” a 23-year-old Ukrainian citizen whom they had previously lured to a meeting by deception.

Investigators from the Wrocław-Krzyki Police Station established that the young people had created a fake social media profile, pretending to be a 16-year-old girl allegedly interested in sexual contact. – In this way, they contacted the 23-year-old and then arranged to meet him. When the man arrived at the designated location, he was attacked by a group of teenagers – explains Sub-Commissioner Aleksandra Freus of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

She also points out: – The perpetrators not only beat the victim, but also shaved his head and painted Nazi symbols on his face, recording the entire incident to humiliate him further.

Police emphasize:

Regardless of one’s assessment of the victim’s behavior, no one has the right to administer justice on their own. Acts of this kind are crimes and will be treated with the full force of the law. We are talking about an assault, with disturbing ideological content also present in the background.

They add: – Steps are currently being taken to fully establish the role of each participant in the incident. The family court is also handling the matter because some of those involved are still under 18.

They also appeal to young people and parents: – If suspicions arise concerning sexual propositions directed at minors, the law enforcement authorities should be notified immediately. Taking matters into one’s own hands and attempting to “administer justice” can lead to tragic consequences—for both the victim and the perpetrators.
