Bolesławiec traffic police stopped two drivers during a speed check who had blatantly disregarded the 40 km/h speed limit:
- A resident of Lwówek County was driving at 105 km/h in a built-up area in Nowogrodziec municipality. He received a PLN 2,000 fine and 14 penalty points. He also lost his driving privileges for 3 months.
- Meanwhile, a resident of Żagań County exceeded the permitted speed by more than 100 km/h in one of the villages in Bolesławiec municipality. He also lost his driving privileges for 3 months and was fined PLN 2,500 and given 15 penalty points.
Police: – Speed limits are in place for a reason—they are intended to protect the lives and health of road users.
