– Preliminary findings indicate that the pedestrian, most likely as a result of being hit by a motorcyclist, suffered injuries resulting in his death – reports Sub-Inspector Dominika Kwakszys of the Złotoryja police. – The 34-year-old motorcyclist is in hospital. Tests showed that he was sober. His blood was also drawn to confirm or rule out the presence of drugs in his system.

On September 11, in the evening, a road incident involving a motorcycle occurred in Stara Kraśnica (Świerzawa municipality), as a result of which two people were injured. An off-duty officer of the State Fire Service Headquarters in Złotoryja (Junior Captain Mateusz Wodzyński), passing by the scene, stopped, assessed the situation, notified the emergency services and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation on one of the injured people.
After the emergency services arrived at the scene and secured the area of operations, medical efforts continued for both people. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the emergency services, one of the incident participants was pronounced dead. The road was completely closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the operations.
The police are determining the cause and circumstances of the incident.
The incident occurred on September 11, in the evening, in Stara Kraśnica (Złotoryja County). According to Radio Wrocław, a motorcyclist fatally hit a 45-year-old man walking along the roadside.

The incident occurred on provincial road number 328, connecting Świerzawa with Wojcieszów, after 8:00 p.m.
Despite resuscitation efforts, the injured man could not be revived.
Police and prosecutors are investigating the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
