The District Prosecutor’s Office in Lwówek Śląski is conducting an investigation into a case involving a 60-year-old resident of Lwówek County suspected of molesting a 9-year-old girl. – The investigation has established that the perpetrator, who is the child’s grandmother’s husband, repeatedly committed other sexual acts against the minor victim between June 2025 and 5 September 2025, while she was in his care – explains Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska, press spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra.
The man was brought to the prosecutor’s office, where he was presented with the charges. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
The suspect did not admit to committing the alleged offence. He gave explanations. At the investigators’ request, the senior citizen was remanded in custody for three months.
The suspect had previously been convicted in court.
