He left his phone on a bench. A pair of thieves hacked into his account and withdrew thousands of zlotys!

Bolesławiec criminal investigators detained a 23-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman. Both are connected with the case involving the misappropriation of a phone. The police explain: – The victim forgot to take his phone from a bench in front of the building. When he realized this and returned for his property, the phone was already gone.

It turned out that the 23-year-old had taken the phone and given it to an acquaintance. The pair hacked into the reporting party's account and stole a total of PLN 3,000. The police: – A BLIK code was generated twice, which enabled cash withdrawals, and in the third case, a phone transfer was made.

The detainees are residents of Bolesławiec. Both admitted guilt. Burglary and theft is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
