Orka gym closed and operating limited hours: what is MOSiR doing?

The gym at Orka was closed during the summer holidays and now has limited opening hours. Is this a matter of cost-cutting, poor management of the facility by director Paweł Dul, or simply staff shortages?

In August, we received an inquiry from a reader regarding the gym at Orka:

What is MOSiR or the MOSiR president doing with the gym at Orka? The gym has been closed for two months. They are opening it in September, but only from Monday to Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It is closed on weekends. Could this be an attempt to make savings?

The reason for closing the gym during the holiday period, as well as limiting its operations, is reportedly employee vacations.

The vacation period is currently underway, and as a result, the gym at the Bolesławiec ORKA Water Park is operating at changed hours. During this time, we warmly invite you to use the Termy gym. At the same time, we inform you that from October 1, 2025, the gym at Orka Water Park will once again be open during its previous hours.
