Last Friday, officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters and police officers from subordinate units conducted heightened checks. The result? The police said: – A total of 6 men were arrested, including one person wanted on a warrant.
Those arrested included:
- a 41-year-old sentenced to 2 years and 4 months for illegal pornographic content,
- a 59-year-old sentenced to 10 months in prison for making threats,
- a 44-year-old thief (sentence: four months),
- a 69-year-old (one year in prison for abusing his family).
That was not all. The police said: – Two residents of Bolesławiec County were also arrested. They were wanted by the local court because they had disregarded sentences for committed offenses and had not paid their fines.
After their arrest, the outstanding amounts were paid, so the men were released once the necessary procedures had been completed.
