A reader concerned about the condition of two buildings at 7B and 7C Hutnicza Street contacted our editorial office – right next to the largest residential development currently under construction in Bolesławiec.
– When you drive along Hutnicza Street to the new high-rises, you pass these buildings. They are in terrible condition, and there is rubbish, bottles and waste everywhere – the resident writes. – The contrast is striking. On one side, a modern, comfortable housing estate, and on the other – a neglected area that looks worse with every passing month.
According to the reader, the level of littering and deterioration has been increasing for more than a year, and there has been no visible response from the owner or administrator. The problem is apparent to anyone entering the site of the new development – not only residents, but also visitors and potential homebuyers.
The reader asks whether the City Office has the tools to influence the owner of the site (an entrepreneur in the funeral services industry) and order them to clean up the area.
We asked Bolesławiec City Hall whether any action is planned in this matter. We are awaiting a response.
