As reported by Nadodrze Border Guard Unit:

In mid-June, under Agreement No. 16 of the Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard and the Commander-in-Chief of the Military Police dated 14 April 2015 on cooperation between the Border Guard and the Military Police, officers of the Nadodrze Border Guard Unit began working with Military Police soldiers.

Joint patrols of border guards and soldiers are used in activities related to ensuring broadly understood security and maintaining public order in the area of responsibility of the NoOSG. The aim of the joint operations is to respond quickly to any threats and disturbances of public peace. The mixed patrols also have a preventive role.

Officers of the Nadodrze Border Guard Unit conduct round-the-clock road checks throughout the Polish-German border area and verify the legality of foreigners’ stays, also with the support of police officers. Since the beginning of April, they have checked nearly 4,500 people, and more than 250 foreigners have been detained for illegal residence.
