Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn spotted a driver during a nighttime patrol of the economic zone who, upon seeing the police car, hurriedly turned into a nearby petrol station. Bolesławiec police headquarters: – During the traffic check, the reason for the manoeuvre quickly became clear. The man was driving a passenger vehicle. The 45-year-old from the Warta Bolesławiecka commune was subject to a court-imposed lifetime driving ban.
The officers from the station caught the road offender red-handed. They then brought the suspect before the District Court in Bolesławiec under expedited proceedings, where the 45-year-old received a sentence of six months’ imprisonment without suspension and a monetary payment of PLN 5,000 to the Fund for Assistance to Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance.
