Officers from the Bolesławiec Police unit and the station in Kruszno took action to isolate the perpetrators of domestic violence from their victims. The police said: – The 39-year-old was detained by a police patrol after his family members reported that the man had subjected them to psychological abuse.

The perpetrator had already served a sentence for abusing his family.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old, who had used violence against his partner, was detained in the act during an intervention in Bolesławiec.

Both perpetrators of domestic violence were detained by police officers and then brought before the local prosecutor’s office, where they were placed under police supervision, banned from approaching or contacting the victims, and ordered to leave the residential premises.

Abusing one’s family is punishable by up to 5 years in prison. A repeat offender may face up to seven and a half years behind bars.
