In the municipality of Gromadka, a road incident occurred. A resident of Wrocław, approaching a railway crossing, failed to comply with the traffic lights at the crossing and hit a barrier that was lowering. The driver was fined PLN 2,000 and received 15 penalty points.
Police:
We remind you that you should exercise particular caution when approaching a railway crossing. Trains always have priority. Even if the driver notices a hazard on the tracks, they cannot stop a speeding train quickly enough.
The barrier was repaired by PKP employees.
