The incident occurred on June 1 in the area of the Kamień sołectwo in the municipality of Mirsk. As reported by lwowecki.info:
The body of a dead dog was discovered in a stream flowing through the village. The report received by the emergency services that day suggested that the animal may have been shot.
Police are investigating the case. A veterinarian examined the animal but found no gunshot wounds. The dog’s body was transported to Wrocław, where an autopsy will be carried out.
If it turns out that the animal was indeed killed, the perpetrator or perpetrators may face up to five years in prison.
