Criminal investigators from Zgorzelec, as part of efforts to combat drug-related crime, identified a location where psychotropic substances might be being produced. Police: – As a result of the actions taken, officers detained a 46-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, in whose garage they discovered a production line.
In the rooms occupied by the man, police officers secured containers, a stove, precursors used to produce drugs, and almost 300 grams of a crystalline substance.
The 46-year-old was detained. Tests showed that he was producing methamphetamine.
The detainee was charged with producing a significant quantity of drugs. This offense carries a sentence of up to twenty years in prison.
The man had previously been convicted of similar offenses. He served a lengthy prison sentence for them.
