According to police, traffic on this route has now been fully restored.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 20, after 6:00 a.m., in Kraśnik Dolny. According to the initial findings of Bolesławiec police, the bus driver, a 52-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, lost control of the vehicle, left the road and crashed into a tree.
The man died as a result of his injuries.
Police and the prosecutor’s office are establishing the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
Drivers may encounter difficulties at the scene. One lane is already passable.

At 6:11 a.m. on May 20, 2025, the command post of the County Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec received a report of a road accident.
Upon arriving at the scene, responders found that a bus-type vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a roadside tree.
Firefighters secured the scene, gained access to the vehicle’s interior using hydraulic tools and supported the work of the Emergency Medical Services team.
