The incident occurred on 15 May. Firefighters from Krzyżowa:
(…) at 1:37 p.m., we were dispatched to a road accident at the motorway exit in the village of Szczytnica.
They added: – Our task was to secure the scene and provide first aid to the injured.
As established by the Bolesławiec police, the 35-year-old driver of the car, a resident of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, noticed the motorway exit too late, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, hit a barrier and rolled over.
The driver and the female passenger were taken to hospital. Fortunately, they did not suffer any serious injuries. The incident was classified as a collision.
Officers urge drivers to exercise caution and prudence on the road.
