The incident occurred on Tuesday, 29 April, in the evening. Emergency services received a report that a man had entered the viaduct.

It was already getting dark, but the police officers noticed a man in his forties lying on the railway tracks. He was drunk.

The officer saved his life by pulling him off the tracks, almost at the last moment, as a train was approaching.

The man in crisis was taken to a specialist hospital in accordance with procedure.
