The incident occurred on April 24, shortly after 7:00 a.m., on the road between Legnickie Pole and Biskupice. Legnica police:
Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of a Toyota Yaris, traveling from Legnickie Pole toward Biskupice, collided head-on with a Ford Transit minibus for reasons that are currently unknown. Unfortunately, the 49-year-old Toyota driver died at the scene.
The minibus was carrying children with disabilities who were traveling to school. Five children were taken to hospital; their lives are not in danger. Officers from the Legnica traffic police are working at the scene.
