Update
Lwówecka police officially on the incident:
On Wednesday, April 16 this year, at around 7:00 p.m., the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski received a report of a domestic dispute that had occurred in an apartment in the city. A patrol of community police officers was immediately dispatched to the scene.
The officers determined that a 21-year-old resident of Lwówek County, under the influence of alcohol, had started an argument with his partner. During the argument, he was vulgar and aggressive toward her, and when he realized that the woman was notifying the police, he committed an act of exceptional cruelty. He picked up a three-year-old Amstaff, opened a window and threw it from the third floor onto a concrete surface. The animal did not survive the fall.
The officers add:
A crime-scene investigation team, accompanied by a forensic technician and a veterinarian, worked at the scene. The man was arrested and placed in a police cell. The community police officers also initiated the “Blue Card” procedure in connection with domestic violence.
The 21-year-old will be charged with killing a dog with particular cruelty and using violence against his partner. He faces up to 5 years in prison.

The man, who was under the influence of alcohol, was arrested by officers from Lwówek and taken to police custody.
Once he sobers up, he will be questioned and will most likely be charged. This type of crime carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.
