The incident took place on April 14, in the afternoon, in Krzyżowa. The driver, a 49-year-old Ukrainian citizen, caused a collision. Another participant in the incident took the foreigner's keys.
The police were called to the scene. As it turned out, the perpetrator was completely drunk – he had almost 3 per mille of alcohol in his system. He was detained.
As reported by the Bolesławiec police, proceedings involving the Ukrainian man are currently underway.
This type of offense is punishable by up to three years in prison.
