Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec Police have once again charged a 28-year-old man known to law enforcement for previous shoplifting incidents. Police headquarters: – The evidence gathered concerns crimes and misdemeanors against property committed from November 2024 to March 2025. Among the 27 thefts is an attempted brazen theft, which was thwarted by store security.
Additionally, the man is suspected of possessing methamphetamine. According to police findings, he most often stole cosmetics and alcohol. The losses were estimated at nearly PLN 6,500.
The arrested man was taken by police officers to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec. The 28-year-old was placed under police supervision and banned from approaching the stores where he committed the thefts. Officers: – As a repeat offender, he faces an increased sentence of up to 12 years in prison.
