Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn arrested a 33-year-old man suspected of three offenses committed in the Gromadka municipality in February and March 2025. – The perpetrator broke into a warehouse building and stole, among other things, wood and wheel rims. The losses were estimated at PLN 30,000 – explains junior inspector Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.
She adds: – The second break-in involved a heavy goods vehicle.
After forcing open the hatch, the 33-year-old stole two batteries, and after smashing a window, he stole a radio, a CB radio and a toolbox. What is more, he forced open the fuel tank cap and drained 100 liters of fuel. The total losses amounted to nearly PLN 5,000.
In addition, the burglar will answer for damaging telecommunications network components. (This time, he caused losses worth PLN 960).
As the arrested man is a repeat offender, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
