The incident occurred on March 11, after 8:30 p.m., in Legnica. – Police were informed that a man injured with a knife was in the vicinity of Rzeczypospolitej Avenue. The police patrol that arrived at the scene found two men lying on the pavement: a 41-year-old suffering cardiac arrest caused by cuts to his neck, back and shoulder, and a 49-year-old with cuts to his upper and lower limbs – reports junior warrant officer Anna Tersa of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters.

As a result of operational and investigative activities, the perpetrator was arrested in an abandoned property on the outskirts of the city where he had been hiding.
