In recent months, several dozen people took part in the recruitment process for the Police. After successfully completing it, 72 people were accepted into service on February 27 this year. Yesterday, in an exceptional place—the Knights’ Hall of Wrocław City Hall, in the very center of the capital of Lower Silesia—the new police officers took their oath. The swearing-in ceremony is the first important event in the careers of new police officers. In preparation for the ceremony, each newly admitted officer learns the principles of drill and police ceremony in order to solemnly recite the words of the Oath in the company of family members and future superiors.

The trainees face several months of training so that they can subsequently ensure the safety of citizens in the individual counties. This time, 72 new officers from across the voivodeship, including 26 women, joined the Lower Silesian garrison. The officers named above will be assigned to 21 city and county police headquarters in the Lower Silesian garrison.

Four police officers will join the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
