On February 21 this year, after 8:30 a.m., an accident involving two passenger cars occurred in central Wałbrzych. – The first was driven by an 18-year-old resident of Wałbrzych, and the second by a 74-year-old man from Wałbrzych – explains Senior Constable Łukasz Porębski of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – Preliminary findings by traffic police officers indicate that the woman travelling from pl. Grunwaldzki towards ul. Wysockiego entered the intersection despite the red signal displayed by the traffic light.
He adds: – One person involved in the incident, an 18-year-old passenger in the at-fault driver’s vehicle, was ultimately taken to hospital. The driver lost her driving licence.
