The incident occurred on Sunday, February 16. While emergency services were carrying out procedures on the A4 related to the accident, a Peugeot driver, a 47-year-old resident of Wrocław County, crashed into a police car belonging to officers from the Nowogrodziec police station.
Fortunately, neither the driver nor the officers was injured. The police officers were outside the vehicle at the time.
It turned out that the 47-year-old was under the influence of alcohol. The consequences he will face depend on the results of the blood tests. If it turns out that he was drunk, he could face up to three years in prison.
