It is practically the beginning of the month, yet officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn have already arrested 5 people wanted to serve prison sentences. They also secured drugs and arrested a domestic violence perpetrator and a driver subject to a court-imposed ban.
The Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters provides the details:
Criminal investigators from Kruszyn arrested a 41-year-old man from Bolesławiec. The man was wanted by the District Court in Zgorzelec for repeatedly driving while intoxicated. He was sent to prison for 8 months.
Kruszyn officers also arrested a 37-year-old man from Nowogrodziec municipality, who has to serve a 5-month sentence for drunk driving.
Another of those arrested, a 26-year-old man from Gromadka municipality, will spend the next 13 months in prison, serving a sentence for drug-related offences. Meanwhile, a 29-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality was sent to prison for 14 months for thefts.
The next person arrested had been sentenced for violating a court-imposed ban and will spend 4 months in prison. He was additionally charged with drug possession.
Moreover, officers from Kruszyn arrested the perpetrator of physical and psychological abuse against his wife. The prosecutor placed the resident of Bolesławiec municipality under police supervision and imposed a ban on approaching or contacting the victim.
Meanwhile, the 57-year-old man was arrested while riding a moped, despite being subject to a court-imposed ban on driving all vehicles.
