Due to the disturbing situation I was informed about today (February 3 — editor’s note: istotne.pl), I am contacting you with a warning!
Once again, people seeking to exploit the situation related to the replacement of heating stoves have appeared in Nowogrodziec.
Previously, they claimed to be UM employees; today, people claiming to work for “some” company are invoking my name.
He added:
I inform you that this is unlawful activity, which I am reporting to the police.
I would also like to inform you that the Municipal Office, and certainly not councillors, ever send any companies into the field to replace anything!!!
The Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters commented on the matter:

Residents of Nowogrodziec municipality who, in recent days, have had contact at their place of residence with representatives of a company offering heating-stove replacement, are asked to contact officers of the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, tel. 478733 500.
