– Every day, officers from all departments of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters check people, among other things, for criminal records and sobriety, as well as whether they are due to serve a prison sentence. Over the past four days, from Sunday to Wednesday, five men were arrested in Bolesławiec County – reports Senior Aspirant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
On Sunday, a 28-year-old Ukrainian citizen wanted under an arrest warrant was detained in the Osiecznica municipality. He was due to serve a one-year prison sentence for assault. Another man wanted under an arrest warrant was sent to prison for six months; the Bolesławiec resident had misappropriated someone else’s property entrusted to him.

The next arrest warrant concerned the perpetrator of a crime against public order. The 31-year-old resident of the Gromadka municipality was sent to a correctional facility for more than three months.
She adds: – Another man was wanted by the prosecutor’s office. The longest sentence is to be served by a 35-year-old Bolesławiec resident – for a crime against the reliability of documents, he was sentenced to one year and three months in prison.
