Last night, Bolesławiec traffic officers stopped a passenger vehicle for inspection. – After checking police databases, it turned out that the 28-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County had committed offenses by driving the vehicle. The woman has five active court-ordered driving bans – explains Asp. Staff Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – By decision of the District Court in Bolesławiec, the convicted woman may not drive a car at least until December 2026.

The officers also checked the driver's sobriety. The spokesperson said: – A drug test came back positive, indicating that the 28-year-old was under the influence of amphetamine.

She adds:

Additionally, the vehicle driven by the resident of Bolesławiec County did not have a valid technical inspection and was towed away from the checkpoint on a flatbed truck.

Breaking a court-ordered driving ban carries a penalty of up to 5 years in prison, while driving under the influence of a narcotic substance carries up to 3 years behind bars.
