On Friday, officers of the Independent Police Subunit in Legnica once again supported Bolesławiec police officers. Their afternoon duty in the city resulted in the arrest of two people. The first intervention was undertaken while travelling to the designated service area.

A 41-year-old man was checked, and officers seized three bags of marijuana from him. The second person was arrested by a foot patrol in the city centre. The 23-year-old had a plastic ball containing hidden marijuana.

Drug tests confirmed that the substances seized by the police officers from Legnica were narcotics.

Possession of narcotic substances is punishable by up to three years in prison.
