Bolesławiec detectives involved in combating drug-related crime detained a 41-year-old resident of Bolesławiec who had returned to the city in recent months. – At the suspect’s place of residence, police secured plastic bags containing methamphetamine equivalent to 740 saleable doses and more than 200 doses of marijuana – explains Staff Warrant Officer Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She adds: – The detained man was acting as a repeat offender; he had previously been convicted of similar offences by the District Court in Bolesławiec and the Regional Court in Legnica.
The District Prosecutor in Bolesławiec placed the 41-year-old under police supervision and imposed a ban on leaving the country.
As the detained man is a repeat offender, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
