The latest duty resulted in three people being detained. During vehicle checks, officers identified two drivers who, by getting behind the wheel, committed an offense punishable by up to five years in prison.
In Bolesławiec municipality, officers detained a 29-year-old man whom the District Court in Bolesławiec had banned from driving. In Bolesławiec, on Zgorzelecka Street, officers also detained a 39-year-old man who has received the same ruling and therefore also committed an offense. Both drivers are residents of the City of Ceramics.
The third person detained was a 38-year-old man from Zgorzelec County. He had several portions of marijuana in his possession and now faces up to three years in prison.
