Police officers from the Criminal Department of the police unit in Luban, conducting operations targeting drug-related crime, dismantled a cannabis plantation located in the county. During the first stage of the operation, the officers discovered a cultivation site hidden among bushes in a secluded location.
The officers found 19 bushes planted in pots made from bags, as well as 51 identical empty pots, most likely previously used for cannabis plants. The plants found were at various stages of growth, and the largest was over 3 metres tall. The bushes found at the site were tested, and the result confirmed that they were cannabis plants.
As a result of further operational activities in Luban County, officers discovered another seven marijuana plants deep in the forest. This time, they had already been prepared for drying.
A forensic investigation team was sent to the indicated locations. The team inspected the site and secured the plants. All circumstances of the case are currently being clarified, while further proceedings concerning the illegal cultivation of cannabis are being conducted by officers from the County Police Headquarters in Luban.
