The incident occurred on Thursday, 5 September, in the evening, on the road between Różyniec and Krzyżowa.
According to the findings of the Bolesławiec police:
According to his statement, the driver of the heavy goods vehicle attempted to avoid wild animals and, as a result of an uncontrolled manoeuvre, hit a tree.
Fortunately, no one was injured. The driver was travelling alone. The vehicle’s registration certificate was retained.
Firefighters from Krzyżowa reported on the incident:
On 5 September 2024, at 21:37, shortly after returning to the fire station from a fire in Leszno Górne, we were dispatched to a tractor unit that had hit a tree on the road between Krzyżowa and Rózyniec. Fortunately, no one was injured.
